Regular Stories expire after 24 hours. Highlights are permanent collections of past Stories that the account owner has chosen to keep visible on their profile. Highlights do not expire.

Can I download all items from a single Highlight?

Yes. When you paste a Highlight link, VidsSave extracts every video and photo from that specific Highlight reel and displays them all with individual download buttons.

Will the account owner know I downloaded their Highlights?

No. Downloading Highlights through VidsSave is completely anonymous. Unlike viewing Stories inside the app, no viewer information is recorded.

Can I download Highlights from private accounts?

No. VidsSave can only access content from public Instagram profiles.

What quality are the downloaded files?

Files are downloaded in the same quality the creator originally uploaded. Videos are saved as MP4 and photos as JPG.

What formats and quality options are available?

Output formats depend on the source platform. Most videos are delivered as MP4 files. Quality options (such as HD or SD) are shown when available — the tool retrieves whatever resolutions the platform provides. Audio from SoundCloud is delivered as MP3. Photos from Instagram and Pinterest are saved as JPG.

Do I need to create an account or log in?

No. VidsSave does not require registration or login. You do not need to enter your social media credentials. The tool only needs the public URL of the post you want to download.

Can I download private or protected content?

VidsSave can only access content that is publicly available. Videos from private accounts, password-protected posts, or DRM-encrypted streams (such as Netflix or Disney+) cannot be downloaded. If a creator has set their content to private, the tool will not be able to retrieve it.

Does VidsSave store downloaded files or personal data?
